Online poker has become world famous recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players receive 5 cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you must in turn make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning ante, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the bet comes the showdown. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with a figure equal to the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The dealer pays chips equal to your ante and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
