Phil Ivey has been branded as the number one poker player on the globe by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to Jersey before his first birthday. Ivey credits his achievements to discipline and an eternal love for poker. He says that he is picking up skills every day and is very abashed about his achievements. Phil knows he makes blunders every single game of poker and constantly aspires to improve.

Despite the fact that Ivey has come first in some large tournaments, he likes winning cash games on a regular basis.
