Web poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players receive 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you need to either make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with an amount in accordance with the initial bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The house pony’s up money equal to your original bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

• Even for a pair or high card
• two to one for 2 pairs
• 3-1 for 3 of a kind
• 4-1 for a straight
• five to one for a flush
• seven to one for a full house
• 20-1 for a four of a kind
• fifty to one for a straight flush
• one hundred to one for a royal flush
