Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the western in an awesome game for beginning level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the casino, unlike nearly all other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, starting players do not have to fret about other, more knowledgeable players taking their $$$$.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the casino is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
