Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore.Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of bamboozlement.In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players acquire five cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager is the faceoff. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with an sum equal to the initial wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The casino pony’s up cash equal to your wager and controlled expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
